Enjoying the summer!

Wow! I feel like it's been forever since I last posted. Summer is in full gear at our house with bushes being planted, new sidewalks and a patio, Getting ready for Easton's first birthday, vacations and having a little fun in between!

My 1st Mother's day was this year and everyone made it so special for me! I never imagined it would feel like this when I become a mom. My heart just pours out love for Easton that is indescribable. Easton now 11 months old now. It's hard to believe time goes that fast. It just seems like yesterday when Dr. Straughn said, "ok, we're going to have a baby tomorrow."

One Saturday, Easton got to enjoy his splash pad. He loves the water and is ready to go when he sees it. I am so glad we took the water babies class!

I will post pictures of our adventures when I get home tonight!

Look at me... I'm 10 months old

I can't believe Easton is 10 months old already! He is going everywhere and into everything. He loves to crawl and push his walking toys around. He is so cute! When he runs into a wall or a piece of furniture with one of his walking toys, he grunts and pushes the toy back an forth like he's trying to push it out of the way. He has 7 teeth and LOVES to feed himself. The only problem with that is he hasn't gotten use to the textures of the food he is able to feed himself, but that will come with time. Here are some pictures of my big boy!

My Blog has a new look!

Happy Saturday everyone! My bog has a new look thanks to my lifelong best friend, Bethany Bice McClure. She is a pro at the Blog thing and was so nice to help me get started. I went with owls because that's what Easton's nursery is decorated in and owls are also the theme for his first birthday party! I am spending the day today making the owl centerpieces for his party. I can't believe he'll be a year old in less that 2 months. Everyone always told me that time flies when you have a little one, but you don't realize it until you have one. Heath and I just try to enjoy everyone second we have with him! There is no other love like the love you have for your child!

Easter was very good to Easton and he was ready to tear in and see what the Easter bunny had left him.  He got lots of sand pails, trucks to play with in the sand, sand molds, sand sholves and rakes, a ball and bat, a swimming pool and float for the big pool.

Easton loves to ride!

Easton's first Easter

Happy Easter everyone!  We had a very busy Easter day.  We started out at church with the Sunrise Service at 6am.  Then, we had breakfast with our church family and celebrated Our Lord Savior raising and leaving the tomb empty in Sunday school and Church!  Thank you Lord for rising again so we can live forever more with you!  Afterwards, we headed out to be with our families.  It was a very fun day, but we were all tired afterwards.

Wow!  This has been one busy week.  I am sorry I am just now getting around to posting the "Watch Me Grow" pictures.  When Easton was just a couple of weeks old, I ordered these Owl "monthly" stickers from Etsy.  I wanted to make sure I had memories to look back on and see how much my sweet baby boy grew and changed over his first year of life.  Here are months 1 through 9.  I will post 10 months as soon as I get them uploaded on my computer.

Let's take a look at the past year...

Then, on June 9, 2011 we welcome our precious baby boy, Easton.  Our lives are forever changed and blessed by this precious gift from God.

During my pregnancy, at 36 weeks and 6 days I developed preeclampsia.  We were going to have our baby 3 weeks early.  Easton came into this world at 5:17 pm, weighing 5 lbs. 8 oz. and 18 3/4 inches long.  I think this is a pretty good start.  Watch for "Watch Me Grow" pictures of Easton next.  Then, I'll get back up to date.

Marley
Heath and I met in 2003 on our high school graduation trip in Panama City and we have been together ever since.  We married on January 26, 2008.  He is my rock and can't image my life without him.  Here is a picture of our first baby, Marley, the "Furbaby".

Let's try a picture of my family

Happy Easter everyone!  This is my favorite picture from the day.

Hi Everyone! I have entered the blogging world!

I enjoy reading other friends blogs, so I thought why not start my own.  Now that we have Easton, everyone loves to see pictures of him.  This is a great way to keep everyone up to date on our family.

This is VERY new to me, so hang in there with me and I hope to get the hang of it soon!  I want to start out by letting you meet our family.
